Memorial Day Weekend

This Memorial Day weekend my parents come to visit. We had a fun time cooking a fish dinner Friday night and going out to dinner on Saturday night. On Sunday we had a Memorial Day lunch consisting of hamburgers and watermelon. We are doing well in the Halliday house. Matt is finishing up in the NICU tomorrow and then will begin on two weeks of nights. Then it will be vacation time!!! We are going to Kiawah for a week with the Kennedy family and then flying to New Jersey to be with the Halliday family and Luke will meet his Great Grandparents!!

New Pictures of Luke

Here are some pictures of mommy and Luke that Matt took of us today. It has been awhile since I have updated the blog but things are going well in the Halliday house. Luke is growing so much and starting to smile at times. We are hoping soon he will be smiling at everyone!

Mr. Luke

Some of you have been asking how big is Luke and I realized I forgot to post it on the last update. Luke is now 10 lbs 4 oz and is 22 3/4 inches in length. He is growing so much and family is starting to say he looks more like his mom... but who knows?!

Our little thumb sucker:) He doesn't do it all the time he still loves his pacifier but sometimes he finds his thumb but other times his other fingers get in the way.

Meeting Auntie Blair for the first time even though she could only stay for an hour, it was great that she was able to come to Birmingham on her road trip:)

Almost Two Months

Luke had his two month doctors appointment today and it went well. He had to get four shots and one oral vaccine. Yes he did scream but recovered quickly and is a little fussy today. It has been kind of a crazy day with the rain and cold weather but we managed to make it through. Here are some pictures of Luke after the doctor and ones from the past week.

His sticker says I was a brave patient.

Poor little boy with is shots on one leg.

Shots on the other leg.

After screaming and falling asleep on daddy while he was post call. This is how we left him this evening... happy sleeping baby.
