Christmas Time

It's Christmas time!! We are so excited about celebrating Luke's first Christmas and starting new family traditions. We have been preparing the house for Christmas. We went and got our tree last week and decorated it along with the rest of the house. Here are some pictures from the past week.

Luke with his Baby's First Christmas ornament and his name one the other side.

Loves looking at the tree.

My 1st Christmas!

Touching the tree for the first time... he wasn't so sure about the way the tree felt.

Ready to go to the pediatrics Christmas party and today was the day he got his first tooth!

In a hat that Grandmom and Grandpa gave mommy and daddy back in 2008 when the Phillies won the world series.

Luke feel asleep holding daddy's iphone. He loves holding our phones and yes he sometimes sleeps with his eyes partly open.

Daddy was playing PS3 football so Luke wanted to join. Don't worry the controller is not for the game and the TV is behind him, he was just focused on something else.

My First Halloween

Luke was a lobster this year for Halloween. The peds department had a costume contest and we won best group costume! Matt and I were chefs and put Luke the lobster in a pot...haha. I don't have a picture of all 3 of us but once I get one I will be sure to post it on the blog.

Happy Fall Yall

I am loving this Fall weather. It has been cold in the morning and night but nice in the afternoons so we can get outside and enjoy the day! Here are some pictures of Luke over the past month.

Such a big boy... can't get over how cute he is in his sweater vest!

Everything goes in his mouth!

Everyone does love LaGrange College, Thanks Auntie Megs!

Videos Are Better Than Pictures!

Luke was having fun with mommy and daddy and then something terrible must have happened.

Luke stating his displeasure with us after the last video.

Sweet boy Luke having fun!

Luke was eating avacado and bananas blended together and it was a little thick. I thought it was funny how he was smacking his mouth when he was eating. Enjoy!

Forgot to Post...

I forgot to post these pictures and just discovered them on my camera. Here are pictures of when we gave Luke a hair cut. All his baby hair had fallen out except the mullet in the back so we decided to cut it because it was really dark and long. I guess we would consider this his first hair cut.
Business in the front but a party in the back!

Daddy cutting Luke's hair/mullet.

Luke is not so sure about what is going on.

All done:) Such a big boy now!

Off the Chart...

We have a BIG boy! When I say big I mean BIG. Luke went for his 6 month doctors visit last week and he weighed 19 lbs 7oz and is 29 inches long. So he is 95% for weight and he is off the growth chart for his length. Dr. Stone said he is a tall and skinny baby... what?! Tall and skinny?? haha He just keeps growing and getting bigger everyday, here are so recent pictures of Luke.

Pictures from a rainy day and Luke loved watching the rain. The other pictures are of Luke with a swollen eye. Not sure how it happened but he is better now:)

Clemson

This past weekend we went to Clemson for the first football game of the season. It was Luke's first trip to Clemson and his first football game. Eventhough it was a very HOT day Luke was amazing. He enjoyed being around all the excitment and watching everything going on around him. We started out the day by tailgating and hanging out with family and friends. We had a blast and can't wait to go back in October when Matt has vacation! Here are some pictures from the game Saturday.

Before we headed into the game.

Visitors

Luke is such a lucky little boy he had two wonderful vistors in one week! First his Aunt Margaret, one of my best friends from college and also a bridesmaid in my wedding came to visit during the week. Then his Aunt Leslie, my sister, came to visit over the weekend. We had such a great time with both and Luke enjoyed his time with them. Luke also got to meet his Aunt Jane Marie via the internet. She is currenlty living in Scotland and this is the first time he has seen her and talked to her but he can't wait to meet her at Christmas. So much love for this little boy.

His shirt reads, "If you think I am cute you should see my Aunt." Luke and Leslie
