We went on a family vacation with the Kennedy family to Kiawah Island near Charleston SC. We had been there many summers in the past but the last time we were there Luke was 3 months old. So we were excited about taking him to the beach and playing in the sand and swimming in the ocean. Well it didn't work out quite like we had planned... Luke didn't really like the beach! Over all we had a good time with family and were able to meet up with friends. Here are some pictures from our beach trip.
First trip out to the beach upon arrival to the condo.

Day three we put shoes on so he would not feel the sand under his feet and he seemed to like it better.
He would just sit in one spot and play in the sand with a shovel and bucket of water.

WOW! I turned around and he was off to the ocean! It may have taken a week to get there but he did it!
